Our Vision for BIIC
Creating a complete Masjid Institute that goes beyond a place of prayer
Our Dream
Belgium is home to many Masajid, but none that truly feel complete. We dream of creating a Masjid that goes beyond a place of prayer—a fully-fledged institute that nurtures faith, fosters knowledge, and strengthens our community.
Our Vision
With a dedicated team, we aim to establish a Masjid that is much more than just a building; it will be a center for Islamic learning, spiritual growth, and community service. A place where Muslims can confidently practice their faith while actively contributing to Belgian society.
Our Three Main Pillars
Our Islamic studies program in session
Knowledge: Essential Islamic Education
We will provide comprehensive Islamic education for all segments of society, creating a foundation of authentic knowledge that empowers our community.
For Everyone
Our educational programs will serve non-Muslims seeking to understand Islam, converts finding their place in the community, and Muslim children, youngsters, adults, men, and women—ensuring that Islamic knowledge is accessible to all.
Structured Learning
We will implement a Maktab system similar to those in the UK, offering structured Islamic education with Arabic classes, Fiqh classes, and Seerah classes that provide a comprehensive understanding of our faith.
Educational Resources
Our center will house a library of Islamic resources, host regular workshops, and provide digital learning tools to ensure that knowledge is accessible in various formats to meet different learning needs.
Tazkiyah, Tarbiyah, Islah: Spiritual Development
Focusing on self-purification, character development, and personal growth to build a strong and righteous Muslim community that embodies Islamic values.
Self-Purification
Our programs will guide individuals in purifying their intentions, actions, and hearts, helping them develop a stronger connection with Allah and embody the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Character Development
We will focus on nurturing Islamic character and values, helping community members develop patience, gratitude, honesty, and other virtues that strengthen both individual faith and community bonds.
Spiritual Guidance
Our imams and spiritual mentors will provide guidance for personal growth, helping individuals navigate life's challenges while maintaining their Islamic identity and strengthening their relationship with Allah.

Community Building: A Welcoming Space
Strengthening bonds and making the Masjid a welcoming space for everyone, creating a sense of belonging and unity within our diverse community.
Inclusive Environment
We will create programs specifically designed to connect youngsters, women, and new Muslims to the Masjid, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and valued within our community space.
Social Gatherings
Regular social gatherings and get-togethers will help strengthen community bonds, providing opportunities for Muslims to connect, support one another, and build lasting friendships based on shared faith.
Community Kitchen
We will establish a community kitchen to provide meals for the needy, serving as a form of Da'wah and creating a space that invites and educates non-Muslims about Islam through service and hospitality.
